Personal Growth Workshops

Jake & Hannah Eagle

We began co-leading workshops in the summer of 2002. Our primary program is something we call a “lab.” We bring a group of people together—usually 20-25 people—and create a community that serves as a laboratory for all of us to practice new ways of being, behaving and communicating. Most of these workshops are eight-day, residential programs. Between the locations we choose, the duration of the program, and most importantly, the principles of Green Psychology, we’re able to create a context that allows people to transform themselves. What does that mean? Different things to different people, but the common experience is that people leave the program loving themselves.

In an effort to make our labs more accessible to more people, in 2008 we started offering shorter labs, these are four-day programs. Students have demonstrated the ability to learn the principles of Green Psychology and to learn Perceptual Language during these shorter programs. However, in the shorter programs we don’t have time to delve into our ten-stage model of human development, which has proven very useful in helping people identify and work with their core patterns.

Our labs—both the 4-day and 8-day programs—are designed for individuals, couples, and therapists looking for a new model that facilitates personal growth. We are always particularly excited when couples attend the program together, because not only do they have a chance to learn new skills and deepen their connection, but they have a practice partner when they go back home.
