In reading the premiss of "trying too hard" I was reminded of what I call CONTROL. When I try to control a situation I will often do just as you mentioned and narrow the window of possibility. It is as if I have told the Universe that what I am trying to accomplish must be done in one way and thus does not allow for any flexibility. This often comes from a predetermined outcome achieved in a very specific way and if it is not brought to the end in the way I had first envisioned then it becomes all the more difficult to get to the goal. Therefore, I find as in the Law of Attraction, that I have seen only one way of accomplishing my goal and not allowing for the Universe to provide in its magical way a result that I am seeking. Once I let go of the control, the Universe then has its opportunity to do what it can to help me manifest my goal. Hope this makes sense. Just kind of thinking on the fly here after putting young kids to sleep! Cheers to you all...
