I believe a perceived imperfection is in my mind's eye, especially if I have defined this imperfection as an irritant in a relationship between me and another. When I choose to shift my gaze to the edge of the image of imperfection that I have put onto another and relax my focus, shifting instead to the edge of imperfection where the image is not as strong as when I focus fully on the imperfection, I find I can see more clearly the core of goodness. I reveal the core of goodness of the other by shifting my focus. I have imperfection and perfection be the yin and yang of perceiving another - always connected - always a tension of opposing energies - and possible to be seen and experienced in many ways.

I make myself happy in an imperfect world by hanging in there until I find a way to regain my happiness. I keep going on purpose.

I happy myself in my experience of the world simple by stepping further into who I am; accepting all parts of me that I reflect on the world around me. As my perception of me shifts, my world shifts.

EMBRACE THE IMPERFECTION!

Out beyond tolerance, out past acceptance there's a place for integrating adversity. I can welcome difficult encounters and challenging people: they are my teachers in the best light, and only circus acts at worst.

What doesn't inspire us to grow ourselves should at least help us laugh.
